We were building a new pool, and wanted stamped concrete for our patio. Jason and his crew exceeded our expectations, and we could not be happier with the end product. There were more than a few bumps along the road with other contractors involved in the project which forced Jason and his team to adjust, sometimes unexpectedly. I was referred to Jason from a co worker of mine. My project was I wanted to add a doorway entrance to my basement that has direct access to my side street. This involved digging out my bank, adding retaining walls, and cutting through the concrete wall. Jason and all of his crew were fantastic. Always offering suggestions and different ideas. So while they were doing this the also rebuilt 3 older block walls that were falling down. What they did has exceeded every expectation that I had. They always kept me updated, sent me pictures daily of the progress, and cleaned up after themselves daily. I would highly recommend them for your concrete work

The owner of Serious Cement, Jason, has been a “can do” professional throughout our large and challenging project. Our 50 year old pool needed (in addition to many other updates) a new cement deck. Jason removed the old cement then he poured, stamped, stained and sealed our new pool deck… but he really did so much more! We needed three different contractors to complete this whole project and Jason helped us manage all the work that needed to be completed. He was so helpful and an amazing cement pro! My wooden retaining wall was rapidly approaching the end of its economic life, as well as a deteriorating concrete stairway that ran along side of the wall. I contacted Jason at Serious Concrete who assessed everything. Jason and his team handled this project from “end to end.” One of the things I enjoyed most about working with Jason and his son Brandon was the fact that they were consistently on the job site personally managing the project all the way. Amazing experience from start to finish.

So I needed a concrete contractor to prep and pour a concrete floor for my pole barn. After inquiring with several different contractors I came across Jason at Serious Concrete. Aside from giving me a very competitive price, when speaking to him initially about this project I immediately knew this was the right company for the job. Whereas other contractors just took measurements, and quoted me a price, Jason took the time to ask about the details of the project, and gave me several options and suggestions which I hadn’t even considered.

Once hired, Jason and his team promptly started the job of preparing the work site in a very efficient and effective manner. From unloading the equipment to ready for concrete, these guys were in and out in a couple of days. The best part in my opinion was that Jason kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, sending me pictures and messages about the progress of the project.

These guys did a fantastic job, were very respectful of my property and I would not hesitate to hire them again on a future project.

Serious Concrete came as a recommendation from a family member. From my initial call, Jason came out within a few days to give me a quote. He was competitive in pricing in comparison to the local competition, and stayed within my budget through the entirety of my project.

His crew was pleasant and always on time, and did a great job of keeping me updated with timelines and pictures of my project when I was out of town.

When he initially started on my patio project, he spray painted an outline he thought would look best with the shape of my pool and yard, and would maximize the foot traffic/lounging area. He brought color samples and sent me previous project pictures to get an idea of what would look best. He had many different options for stamping as well, and gave his opinion when asked.

Once we were set, he backfilled the pool and not only did they do all of the grading for my backyard, they also seeded it once the concrete was in place. He built the steps and also a fire pit with stone around them, matching my existing fireplace on my house, which was a great bonus.

Overall, Jason and his team at Serious Concrete and Construction are top notch. From communication to timeliness to the final product, I’d highly recommend them for any concrete job you need!
